Because of its irregular shape and many bays and inlets, Prince Edward Island has a long coastline. It has communities with unique flavour, and secret treasures tucked away and quietly awaiting discovery. For general information on Prince Edward Island and its many attractions and events and to access the Island Guide and maps, please consult the Official PEI Government tourism information Web Site or call toll-free 1-800-463-4734.

North Cape Coastal Drive http://www.northcapedrive.com/

The Centre Goéland is situated along the North Cape Coastal Drive which is home to charming accommodations, welcoming shops featuring handcrafted treasures and dining experiences from cozy cafés to beachside picnics to fine dining… all with a “Western PEI” flair. Add to this a wide array of attractions, outdoor activities and championship golf and it’s likely you will run out of time before you run out of things to do. This scenic drive takes you from Summerside to the most Western end of PEI.

Evangeline Region http://www.regionevangeline.com/index.cfm/en/home

The Centre Goéland is situated in the Evangeline Region (La Région Évangéline), a coastal area rich in natural scenery and Acadian culture. Its people will proudly share their language, music, joie de vivre and food. La Région Évangéline is synonymous to lively rhythms, especially during several festivals held throughout the summer. Local musicians and dancers know how to throw a party! Join in and learn to dance a jig!
